About Church’s Chicken
Established in 1952 as Church’s Fried Chicken To Go, Church’s Chicken is a fast food restaurant chain headquartered in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Trading outside the U.S. as Texas Chicken, it is one of the largest and most popular fried chicken restaurants in the country. Initially, Church’s Chicken only served chicken; however, it added jalapenos and fries in 1955. It later merged with Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits in 1989 to become the 2nd largest chicken restaurant chain.
Today, the company operates more than 1,600 outlets in 27 countries. Its menu has also expanded to include mashed potatoes, cole slaw, corn on the cob, fried okra, as well as honey butter biscuits. The restaurant chain also serves newer menu items such as tacos, nuggets, sandwiches, and a spicy flavor selection for the chicken.

I cannot complete a survey because for the fifth time in a row, I haven’t received a receipt. This is a bit ridiculous. They don’t ask if I want anything more, like sauces, not do they say thank you. The jalapeño poppers fell apart in my hand. This is the store on Federal Blvd in Denver. I can’t give you an exact address because I don’t have a receipt to look at! Please whip this store into shape or you will lose more customers by word of mouth.
I DO NOT LIKE TO BE THE CUSTOMER WHO COMP;AINS BUT ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I GET COUPONS IN THE MAIL OFTEN AND I USE THEM OFTEN, EVERYTIME I GO AND USE A COUPON I GET CHICKEN THAT IS HARD AND DRY JUST BECAUSE I HAVE A COUPON DOES NNOT MEAN THAT I SHOULD GET POOR QUALITY CHICKEN . IM AFRAID THAT I WILL DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO THE NEXT TOWN TO BUY POPYES I HATE TO DO THAT SINCE THE STORE IS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET WHERE I LIVE I STILL PAY FOR THE CHICKEN ITS NOT IKE IM GETTING IT FOR FREE STORE NUMBER IS 8560
Yesterday at the drive-thru I ordered the new “Crispy Fish Combo, with okra for my side dish, sweet tea as my drink, plus a 5-piece order of Lemon Drops. Imagine my astonishment when , after driving away from my Churchs on Marietta Parkway in Marietta,, GA, to find what at first I thought was the toughest fish I had ever eaten–my crispy fish and miraculously turned into chicken fingers! Plus, in stead of the okra I ordered there was a cup of mashed potatoes and gravy, and instead of my Lemon Drops, I received a cup of macaroni & cheese. The only reason I actually received the sweet tea I ordered is, in retrospect, is that I had to ask for my drink at the window after she handed me the bag which I assumed had “my” lunch in it–ah, had I only known right then. And of course I received no receipt for the transaction ($5.29 was the charge, I believe) so I don’t even have any of the required figures (store #, order #)at hand to take a regular online survey. Years ago, getting Churchs at the drive thru was like a treasure hunt: there was no guessing what would actually be in the bag versus what was actually ordered. This went on for many months but then after many survey responses (and perhaps a little retraining), the food exactly matched the order. Hope “Star Wars Day” is not the beginning of a trend (May the 4th be with you); I guarantee I will henceforward examine the contents of the bag BEFORE I leave the window.
I purchased the 2P MIC Combo at Church’s store #181 in Laurel, MS on Beacon Street-The grease must have been too hot, because the outside of the chicken looked over cooked but when I bit into the chicken the inside was not cooked. I did contact the store to let them know of the situation and a female answered the call and asked if I could come back. I was on a short break to pick up some to eat so I gave her my name and told her that I could come by tomorrow 04/06/17. Before, hanging up she asked it I still had my receipt, I told her that I did.
If, I am going to buy chicken, it was always “Church’s” that came to mind. I regret that , I may have to think twice before going to this Church’s in Laurel, MS.
Church’s chicken at 10230 Central Avenue NE has a lady named Amanda who is so super rude, it is absolutely disgusting. Amanda with an attitude slammed the drive up window so hard it could have busted. She has a very harsh sarcastic response to customers, she acts as if she slaughtered the chickens all by herself and is now so angry for customers going to church’s. I suppose if I had to sell chicken for living I would be angry too. Some thing needs to be done about this angry Amanda with an attitude. I go there at least twice sometimes three times a week. I don’t think she knows that because this the first time I have seen her there. She made three customer pull forward and wait in the parking for their order. What is the point of having a drive thru if we have to pull into the parking lot?
Over charged and manager wouldn’t refund. Said boards were wrong. Matt was his name. Store 2121 order 5026 at 540 pm. Charged 116.99 Board said 15.99. Won’t be back
store#751 in macon ga is a good store managed by good people. my complaint is supplies for the store is terrible. they can’t get tops for cups, tops for half gallons, biscuits, okra. the manager requests these items but the truck don’t bring it. can you help!
Good service and tendering of money. Makes sure customer is happy.
At will Clayton and atascocita Rd 77346. It took 14 minutes for them to take my order no one else in line. Then after waiting 10 more minutes at the window the lady’s says they forgot to drop my order in and would I mind waiting 15 more minutes.
I left and will not come back.
