Today, August 08, 2017, I was in Goose Greek store #4544 in Goose Creek, SC when an elderly lady came in asking directions. When the manager gave her directions and saw she did not understand, she then ask the lady if she knew where she was. She did not. Pippa then asked if someone could come for her instead of her driving. She got the daughter’s number and made sure someone was coming to help her. Thank you, for wonderful people like Pippa P. She grasped the situation and acted on it. Thank you Ms. Pippa for helping someone who already had a lot on her shoulders.
Shopped in your Hwy 16 Newnan GA location on Monday 3/25 at around 12:30pm. This location is a nice facility and has ample organized stock, with attentive employees ( not always over friendly but pleasant). On this particular day, when I approached the register, I had to wait for a few minutes for the cashier to finish her text message. When finished, she put the phone down, ring up the items and told me the total. She then handed me the receipt with a thank you. Now I am not writing this to be a hard ass, however, I would think Family Dollar management would want your employees to have all attention focused on the customer that is providing your profits. It somewhat irrates me that I have to wait for someone to finish a personal text message, before getting on with my day. I thought it would be good for you to know this situation.

Store # 11638 116 S Sun ‘N Lakes Blvd. Lake Placid, FL 33852 I tried answering the phone, the store phone was not working properly so the employee could not answer. I went to the store only to be told they had already given the prize to someone else. There was less than 15 minutes between the call and my arrival at the store. The employees acknowledged that they knew I tried to return the call. They said they started calling at 9 am the first call from them came in at 10;48 am. A voicemail came in at 10;52 am. I was at the store by 11;02 Even though they acknowledged knowing of my attempt to return the call, they gave it to another person. I told them I thought they should have waited a while before trying to contact another person due to the phone not working. I am only one customer that found this location convenient I will not be shopping Family Dollar anymore and will let others know of this unprofessional practice.,
The lady that work at broadway store is very friendly to customers and help any one.
I am very upset with family dollar, I went there today and little confused about the sale ads I just signed up for the on-line saving I get home and I have saved nothing, no one told or ask me about my phone no. for the saving, then they had in the ad for suave power protection $1.00 they charged me $1.35 plus I had a $0.50 coupon I gave it to the guy, but it was not taking off my bill. I am as I said very upset.
I was a customer in the family dollar store at11:00a.m.. I needed some knee highs a nd a can of spinich, running late for church and picked up the wrong stockings. I got pantyhose instead of knee highs. Well I opened the box and realized they were wrong, within one minuted i tried to return with the reciept and they wouldn’t reurn even though I had the right product, same price,same leggs product, just one panthose and one knee highs. she aruging with me that I opened it and they couldn’t sale. I am a thirty year retail employee and 1. 73 would not had let a customer leave unhappy. This company employees has insulted my diable husband, and has argued with me about customer service and i have decided to stop all together wit family dollar. I was running late for church and family dollar made me later. Because I was on my way to chuch i purchased the knee highs and another cusstomer was in line came to my car and bopught the pantyhosse from me.Then I wwent back into the store and returned the spinach. I nor any of my family members or friends will not shop at family dollar ever again.

I shopped store 2235 today and found it very neat and clean in most of the areas. the clerk, sherry, was very friendly and told me about the smart coupons deal. this is great.
We shopped at your store 10824 in Temple, TX and found your service person the most helpful we’ve ever met in all our travels. She is by herself in the store but able to locate for us the items we needed while all the time keeping other customers happy . You should reward this lady with an award as she does your business a large boost in customer satisfaction.
I come to family dollar all the time and one of your employees got smart with my daughter .it was on father’s Day and my daughter which is 17 about to be 18 soon went in the store to buy some spray paint for a bike and the employee that work that evening about like 2 or 3 pm. Got smart with my daughter because she or I didn’t know that u have to be 18 to buy spray paint and I was sitting in the car and she would not let my daughter come get me so I think that was very rude or impolite of the family dollar employee that was working it wE store number#06358 her name I can’t pronounce but she was pregnant before working there.

I paid for my item, was leaving the store and stopped to look at some videos on the way out. The clerk walked up to me and told me that I was allowed in the store any more. I was in shock. I am not a thief. I am 65 years old. I am a minister. I asked her what the heck she was talking about. She said that the other clerk had sent her over to tell me I wasn’t allowed in the store any more. That clerk walked over with a smug look on her face. When I turned around, she said – oh sorry, I thought you were someone else. She has blond hair like yours. She said that if she would have seen my face first she would have known that it wasn’t the same person. There was another customer near by and I was totally embarrassed. They went back to the register and continued waiting on the other customer. I walked out wondering why they didn’t make sure they had the right person before they embarrassed me. They did say that they were sorry as I walked out the door, but that didn’t change that now I would feel uncomfortable going into your store. I go in several times a week, but don’t think I’ll be back.

I stopped in the Family Dollar on 401 S Utica Ave in Tulsa Oklahoma, store #03413 and was treated horribly. When I went to the cash register to pay and there were 2 girls that were more concerned over a picture on their phone. Once she put my items in the sack she never told me the cost. She was talking with her co-worker. My friend told me the cost and said it’s a good thing we aren’t in a hurry. Then the cashier told me the price. as she took my money she called my friend a BITCH!!!

I bought furniture feet and when they did’t fit I try to take them back they wouldn’t let me. They said since they where bought on clerance they couldn’t do anything. There is nowhere on the receipt that show they wouldn’t take it back. This was only $5.00, it just made Judyme mad due to not being able to return the item. I don’t believe I will be going back.
You should train your employees to let the customer know about the no return policy on clearance items.

I was in retail management for 32 years and I can tell you if I had not retired I would grab up this store manager. She is never grumpy , always greets you with a smile and a hello. She checks all the boxes one would look at when hiring management.

Why is the Angle soft advertized at $3.50 and then it rings up at $3.95. Happens every time. Can’t get it right or just getting over on the customer.

I stopped on thurs nov 2 on my way home from work to pick up a few items, among them being a 6 pack of ceaserd dog food which was on sale. the next morning upon opening the box of dog food ,discovered that there were only 2 packs in box not six.I just took off shelf and placed in cart. upon examing my slip so that I could take this back to the store on Friday after work , I also discovered that they had charged me twice for the one package of hot dogs that I did buy. So I get to the store on Friday evening and tell the girl at the counter” JELITZA” about the issuses to which she replyed sarcasticly “you should have come back last night with your problem” told her I just discovered it fri morn when I went to feed the dog.”WELL you should have come in when we opened” I said excuse me but I work during the day and come on my way have and do not live in Holyoke. very poor attitude on behalf of this employee. I asked to speak with a manager and so she disappears for several minutes and comes back and says no one is there that can help me as they will have to now look at the security tapes and no one there can do that. left the store saying when will manager that can do that be in,” SAT morning was the reply” tell him to then watch the tapes as I will be calling in the morning. call sat morning shortly after 9 am and again get JELITZA on the phone and says manager should be in in a few minutes. I left my cell phone number for him to call me even though I am at work. so at 12 noon I call back again and lo and behold this time he already left and not coming back. I know this is trivial but I really wanted my dollar back from the hot dogs and the four tubs of dog food that I paid for
