About Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop

Growing up in a neighborhood called Little Italy in Wilmington, Delaware; Lois Margolet had a dream of opening her own sandwich shop. They named the sandwich shop after Philip Capriotti, their grandfather, who enjoyed cooking for them.

Today, Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop is a fast-casual restaurant chain with more than 100 company–owned and franchise stores in 16 states. All Capriotti’s Sandwich Shops are carrying on the tradition begun by the founders nearly 40 years ago.
